Ravioli Bolognese

Adapted from Lipton, Inc.

  • 1 lb ground chicken breast, skinless
  • 4 ozs mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 c onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c bell peppers, chopped
  • 26 pcs frozen cheese ravioli, thawed
  • 14 1/2 ozs stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 8 ozs no-salt-added tomato sauce
  • 1 c chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
In a large saucepan, cook chicken, mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers until chicken is no longer pink. Stir in thawed ravioli, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, salt, black pepper, basil, and oregano. Mix well. Bring to a boil. Then, simmer for ten minutes, or until desired tenderness of ravioli.
