Cajun Dirty Rice

Adapted from Incredibly Easy Rice Recipes

  • 1/4 lb light pork sausage
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tsps cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 6 ozs instant brown rice
Cajun Dirty Rice
In a large skillet, cook sausage, onions, and celery until sausage is no longer pink. Stir in chicken broth, cajun seasoning, garlic power, and salt. Mix well and bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand ten minutes.
