2 c unbleached flour  1/2 tsp cloves 
1 c light brown sugar, packed  1/8 tsp salt 
1 c raisins  1 c chunky applesauce 
1/4 c pecans, chopped  3 tbsps light margarine, softened 
1 tsp baking soda  1 whole egg 
1 tsp cinnamon  1 tsp pure vanilla extract 
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare 9" x 5" loaf pan with cooking spray and flour; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, raisins, pecans, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Add applesauce, margarine, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until moistened. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for one hour and 15 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
