Winter's Best Bean Soup

Adapted from The Best Slow Cooker Recipes

  • 10 cups chicken broth
  • 30 ozs reduced sodium pinto beans, drained
  • 15 ozs canned great northern beans, drained
  • 14 1/2 ozs no-salt-added diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 13 ozs frozen sliced carrots, thawed
  • 5 ozs frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 tsp pizza seasoning
  • 1 tsp black pepper
Winter's Best Bean Soup
In a 5 - quart slow cooker, combine chicken broth, beans, tomatoes, carrots, peas, pizza seasoning, and black pepper. Mix well. Cover and cook on low for five hours or until beans and vegetables are tender.
