Rotini With Quick Meat Sauce

Adapted from The Hurry Up I'm Hungry Pasta Cookbook

  • 1 lb ground chicken breast skinless
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 29 ozs no-salt-added tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp pizza seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsps salt
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 16 ozs rotini pasta, cooked
Rotini With Quick Meat Sauce
In a large skillet, cook chicken, onions, and bell peppers until chicken is no longer pink. Add tomato sauce, pizza seasoning, salt, sugar, basil, and oregano. Mix well. Cook for 20 minutes, or until bubbling. Serve sauce over pasta.
