Pumpkin Biscuits

Adapted from Nestle, Inc.

  • 2 1/2 cup low-fat baking mix
  • 1/3 cup instant non-fat milk powder
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, Packed
  • 1 1/4 tsps pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 c canned pumpkin
  • 4 tbsps water
Preheat oven to 425. In a mixing bowl, combine baking mix, dry milk powder, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix well. Stir in pumpkin and water just until moistened. On a lightly floured surface, knead dough ten times. Roll dough to half inch thickness. Cut into biscuits. Place biscuits on prepared baking sheet, two inches apart. Bake for ten minutes, or until light brown on top.
