Peppy Almonds

Adapted from Gifts That Taste Great

  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 tbsps low-sodium worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 16 ozs whole almonds, toasted
Peppy Almonds
Preheat oven to 300. In a large saucepan, melt margarine. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salts, cumin, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well and cook until margarine has melted. Add almonds. Spread nut mixture onto a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring every ten minutes. Yields: 9 - 1/4 cup servings.
