Peaches & Apple Crisp

Adapted from Nabisco, Inc.

  • 29 ozs canned sliced peaches, drained
  • 3 c Granny Smith apples, sliced thin
  • 1/2 c granulated sugar
  • 2 tsps cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 c reduced fat vanilla wafers, crushed fine
  • 3 tbsps walnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsps light margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 400. Prepare a 2-quart dish with cooking spray; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine peaches, apples, sugar, and cornstarch. Spread mixture into prepared pan; set aside. Meanwhile, in another mixing bowl, combine crushed wafers, walnuts, cinnamon, and margarine. Sprinkle over fruit mixture in pan. Bake for 35 minutes or until topping is brown on top.
