Peaches & Apple Crisp

Adapted from Nabisco, Inc.

  • 2 lbs fresh peaches, sliced
  • 2 lbs Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tsps cornstarch
  • 1 cup reduced fat vanilla wafers, crushed fine
  • 3 tbsps walnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tsps cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup margarine, melted
Peaches & Apple Crisp
Preheat oven to 400. Prepare a 9" x 13" dish with cooking spray; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine peaches, apples, sugar, and cornstarch. Spread mixture evenly into prepared pan; set aside. Meanwhile, in another mixing bowl, combine crushed wafers, walnuts, cinnamon, and margarine. Sprinkle over fruit mixture in pan. Bake for 40 minutes or until topping is brown on top.
