Easy ABC Soup

Adapted from Pillsbury, Soups, Stews, & Oven Lovin' Breads

  • 10 ozs frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1/2 c onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c bell peppers, chopped
  • 6 ozs chicken breast strips, cooked and cubed
  • 6 c chicken broth
  • 2 c water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 7 ozs alphabet pasta, uncooked
In a 4-quart saucepan, cook vegetables, celery, onions, and bell peppers until tender. Stir in chicken, broth, water, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and stir in pasta. Simmer 12 minutes, or unto pasta is done.
