Butter Cookie Wreaths
In a mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until creamy. In another mixing bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Add to wet ingredients until well mixed. Divide dough in half and shape each into a ball. Wrap each ball in plastic wrap. Chill dough 2 hours or until firm. Preheat oven to 400. Roll out dough onto a floured surface to 1/4" thickness. Cut with wreath shaped cookie cutter. Place 1" apart onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool. Meanwhile, melt both chocolates in a saucepan over low heat until smooth. Set saucepan in a hot water bath to maintain consistency. Spread top of each cookie with melted chocolate. Decorate as desired. Chill cookies until chocolate is set.
