Broccoli Tuna Casserole

  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 cup fat-free milk
  • 1 tsp pizza seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 16 ozs frozen broccoli flowerets, thawed and cooked
  • 12 ozs tuna in water, drained
  • 1/4 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 8 ozs egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 cup Monterey jack cheese, shredded
Broccoli Tuna Casserole
Prepare a 9"x13" pan with cooking spray; set aside. In a large saucepan, heat onions, cornstarch, milk, pizza seasoning, salt, black pepper, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir until thickened or for three minutes. Stir in half cup cheese, broccoli, tuna, and cooked noodles. Mix well. Spread mixture into prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bread crumbs. Bake, covered for 45 minutes, Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer, or until cheese has melted.
