extra lean beef stew meat, cooked and cut into cubes

pizza seasoning

frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
In a 3 1/2-quart slow cooker combine cubed meat, onions, barley, beef broth, water, pizza seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Cover and cook on low for six hours. Add mixed vegetables. Increase setting to high and cook again for 20 minutes, or until vegetables are cooked.
