Bacon Ranch Chicken and Pasta

  • 1 lb chicken breast halves skinless
  • 3 ozs low-fat bacon, cooked an diced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 oz ranch salad dressing mix, dry
  • 10 3/4 ozs low sodium cream of chicken soup
  • 8 ozs light sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 ozs angel hair spaghetti, cooked
Bacon Ranch Chicken and Pasta
Prepare a 3 1/2-quart slow cooker with cooking spray; place chicken breasts onto bottom of slow cooker; set aside. In mixing bowl, combine bacon bits, garlic powder, ranch dressing mix, chicken soup, sour cream, black pepper, and water. Mix well. Pour mixture evenly over chicken in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for five hours, or until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink. Once chicken is cooked, take out of slow cooker and shred lightly in a food processor. Stir shredded chicken and cooked spaghetti with ranch mixture.
