Spunky Chili

Adapted from Alberto Culver Company

  • 31 ozs canned dark red kidney beans, drained
  • 29 ozs Chili Style tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 1/2 tbsps Mrs. Dash Classic Italiano seasoning
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 c onions, chopped
  • 1 c bell peppers, chopped
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c cheddar cheese, shredded
In a large saucepan, combine beans, tomatoes, seasoning, chili powder, onions, bell peppers, and salt. Mix well and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes; stirring occasionally. Add cheese and mix well.
