Spicy Snack Mix

Adapted from Cook Healthy Cook Quick

  • 4 ozs corn squares cereal
  • 4 ozs rice squares cereal
  • 4 ozs wheat squares cereal
  • 2 ozs small pretzel sticks, broken in half
  • 3 ozs salted peanuts
  • 1/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Spicy Snack Mix
Preheat oven to 325. In a large bowl, combine cereals, peanuts, and pretzel sticks. In a liquid measure, combine melted margarine, soy sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well. Pour over cereal mixture in bowl. Spread mixture evenly onto a baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
