Southwestern Skillet Chili

Adapted from Land O Lakes, Inc.

  • 1 lb chicken breast halves skinless, cut into 1" pieces
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 12 ozs salsa
  • 15 ozs canned dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 15 ozs reduced sodium pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 8 ozs tomato sauce
  • 14 1/2 ozs canned diced tomatoes, undrained
Southwestern Skillet Chili
In a large skillet, cook chicken pieces until no longer pink. Add chili powder, garlic powder, salsa, beans, tomato sauce, and tomatoes. Mix well and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes, or until bubbly.
