Shortcut Baked Beans

Adapted from Better Homes & Gardens, New Cookbook

  • 2 ozs bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 32 ozs canned pinto beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup no-salt-added ketchup
  • 4 tbsps light brown sugar
  • 4 tsps yellow mustard
  • 2 tsps low-sodium worcestershire sauce
In a medium saucepan, combine onions, pinto beans, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and worcestershire sauce. Cook over low heat, about 15 minutes or until desired consistency. Stirring frequently. Top with bacon.
