Pepperoni Pizza Chili

Adapted from Taste of Home Magazine 2002

  • 1 lb ground chicken breast skinless
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 2 ozs turkey pepperoni slices, chopped
  • 15 ozs pizza sauce
  • 15 ozs canned dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 14 1/2 ozs no-salt-added stewed tomatoes, undrained and cut up
  • 8 ozs no-salt-added tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp pizza seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
Pepperoni Pizza Chili
In a large saucepan, cook, chicken, onions, and bell peppers until chicken is no longer pink. Add pepperoni, pizza sauce, beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, pizza seasoning and salt. Mix well and cook for 10 minutes, or until heated though.
