Peach Cobbler

Adapted from Microwave Cooking

  • 2 lbs fresh peaches, sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 9 ozs yellow cake mix
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsps margarine, melted
Peach Cobbler
In a mixing bowl, combine peach slices, sugar, and one teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix well. Place in a prepared 8" glass square dish. Microwave for three minutes on high, or until peaches are tender. In another mixing bowl, combine cake mix, remaining cinnamon, and margarine. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over peaches in the dish. Microwave 20 minutes on medium-high or 50% power, turning 1/4 turn every two minutes. This recipe was made in a 1000-watt microwave.
