Honey Garlic Snack Mix

Adapted from General Mills, Inc.

  • 5 ozs cashew halves and pieces
  • 4 ozs corn squares cereal
  • 4 ozs small pretzel sticks, broken in half
  • 3 ozs rice squares cereal
  • 1/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Honey Garlic Snack Mix
Preheat oven to 300. In a large bowl, combine cashews, corn squares cereal, pretzel sticks, and rice squares cereal. In a liquid measure, combine melted margarine, honey, chili powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well. Pour over cereal mixture in bowl. Spread mixture evenly between two baking sheets. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Yields: 15 - 1/2 cup servings.
