Easter Egg Rolls

Adapted from Bisquick Cookbook, Holiday Hospitality

  • 4 2/3 cups low-fat baking mix
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsps butter, softened
  • 1 cup fat-free milk
  • 2 tsps pure vanilla extract
  • 8 ozs vanilla frosting
Easter Egg Rolls
Preheat oven to 450. Prepare a 12" round pan with cooking spray; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine baking mix, sugar, butter, and milk until a soft dough forms. Gently smooth dough into a ball on floured surface. Knead eight to ten times. Roll dough half inch thick. Cut with a floured 2" cookie cutter. Arrange rolls close together in a circle pattern in round pan. Bake for 15 minutes, or until lightly browned on top. While warm, spread rolls with frosting. Decorate as desired.
