Chili Burritos

Adapted from Campbell's Microwave Cooking

  • 1 lb ground chicken breast
  • 4 ozs frozen corn
  • 1/2 cups onions, chopped
  • 5 ozs tomato soup
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsps salt
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 12 pcs whole wheat tortillas
  • 8 ozs tomato sauce
  • 6 ozs cheddar cheese, shredded
Chili Burritos
In a 2-quart glass casserole dish, combine chicken, frozen corn, and onions. Cover and microwave on high for five minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink, stirring once during cooking time. Stir in soup, chili powder, salt, and worcestershire sauce. Mix well and heat again for five minutes on high. Spoon one-fourth cup chicken mixture onto each tortilla. Roll up to make burritos. Place seam-side down onto glass microwave glass dish. Spread tomato sauce evenly over top and sprinkle wth cheese. Heat again for 10 minutes, or until cheese has melted. This recipe was made in a 1000-watt microwave.
