Cherry Crunch

Adapted from Martha White 100th Anniversary Southern Traditions

  • 21 ozs cherry pie filling
  • 3/4 cup self rising flour
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 3 tbsps margarine
  • 3 tbsps walnuts, chopped
Preheat oven to 375. Prepare a 2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray and flour; set aside. Pour pie filling evenly into bottom of prepared pan; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. With a pastry cutter, cut in margarine until crumbly. Fold in walnuts. Sprinkle mixture over top pie filling. Bake for 25 minutes, or until topping is browned on top.
