Cashew Macadamia Crunch

Adapted from Favorite Brand Name Recipes 2003

  • 23 ozs milk chocolate chips
  • 6 ozs cashew halves and pieces
  • 6 ozs macadamia baking pieces
  • 1 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tbsps corn syrup
Cashew Macadamia Crunch
Line a 9" x 13" pan with foil, extending over edges of pan. Spread chocolate chips evenly over bottom; set aside. In a large saucepan, combine margarine, sugar and corn syrup. Mix until sugar is dissolved; stirring constantly. Add cashews and macadamia baking pieces. Cook until mixture begins to cling together and turns a golden brown. Pour mixture evenly over chocolate chips in pan. Chill for several hours, or until chocolate is set. Break into pieces.
