Baking Mix Whole Wheat Waffles

Adapted from General Mills, Inc.

  • 2 cups low-fat baking mix
  • 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 cups fat-free milk
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Heat Belgian waffle iron and spray with cooking spray. In a liquid measure, combine baking mix, flour, and pumpkin pie spice. Stir in milk, egg, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until blended. Pour half cup batter per waffle onto hot waffle iron. Bake for four minutes, or as directed from your waffle iron instructions.
