Alphabet Vegetable Soup

Adapted from

  • 2 1/2 cup water
  • 14 1/2 ozs chicken broth
  • 8 ozs tomato sauce
  • 1 1/4 ozs spaghetti sauce mix
  • 2 cups frozen sliced carrots
  • 2 cups celery, chopped
  • 15 ozs no-salt-added creamed corn
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cups alphabet pasta
In a large saucepan, combine water, broth, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce mix, carrots, celery, corn, and salt. Mix well and simmer, covered for 15 minutes, or until vegetables are tender. Add pasta. Cover and simmer again for 20 minutes, or until pasta is done.
