Welcome! I have personally tried each and every recipe posted on this site. The majority are low-fat, heart-healthy recipes containing less than 35% calories from fat which conforms to current USDA Dietary Recommendations. I have, however, included a few non heart-healthy recipes which are not low-fat. I use these recipes as a treat a few times a year. These recipes will have the image symbol in front of the name and will display a warning letting you know that they are not low-fat recipes. In almost all cases, I have modified the original recipes in an attempt to make them healthier by reducing the fat while still preserving the flavor.

While I love to cook, I don't like spending hours in the kitchen so you will find that most of these recipes are easy and quick to make. They also freeze well making them good for leftovers. If you have any questions, you can email me via the Comments page.
