The U. S. Food and Drug Administration has established a set of Daily Reference Values which provide recommended daily maximum amounts for total fat, total carbohydrate (including fiber), protein, cholesterol, and sodium. These values are based on a diet of 2,000 calories per day. If you eat more or less than that value, enter the value in the Calories per Day field below the table and press the Update button.
