Snacking Good Nuts

Adapted from Slow Cooker Meals

  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 3 tsps chili powder
  • 2 tsps low-sodium worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 8 ozs cashew halves and pieces
  • 8 ozs pecan halves
Snacking Good Nuts
Preheat oven to 300. Place a piece of foil onto baking sheet, sprayed with cooking spray; set aside. In a saucepan combine margarine, chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic salt, and cinnamon. Mix well and cook for five minutes. Add cashews and pecans. Mix until all are well coated. Place evenly onto prepared foiled lined pan. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes four cups or 16 - 1/4 cup servings.
