Slow Cooker Tortelloni

Adapted from

  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 lb ground chicken breast, skinless
  • 1 tbsp pizza seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 15 ozs marinara sauce
  • 14 1/2 ozs canned diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 19 ozs frozen cheese tortellini, thawed
  • 9 ozs fresh spinach, washed and chopped
Slow Cooker Tortelloni
In a large skillet, cook onions and chicken until chicken is no longer pink.Transfer mixture to a 5 1/2 - quart slow cooker. Add pizza seasoning, garlic powder, marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, water, and chicken broth. Mix well. Cook on high for three hours. Add tortelloni and spinach. Mix well. Cover and cook on low for 30 minutes, or until pasta is cooked.
