Easy to Stuff Manicotti

Adapted from Quick Cooking

  • 14 pcs manicotti pasta
  • 1 lb ground chicken breast
  • 1/2 c onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 26 ozs low-fat spaghetti sauce
  • 14 pc string cheese sticks
  • 6 ozs mozzarella cheese, shredded
Easy to Stuff Manicotti
Cook and drain pasta according to package directions; let cool before filling. Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a 13"x9" pan with cooking spray; set aside. Meanwhile, cook chicken and onions in a large skillet until chicken is no longer pink. Stir in salt. Add spaghetti sauce and heat through. Spread half the sauce onto bottom of prepared pan. Stuff each manicotti shell with one cheese stick. Place stuffed shells over top sauce in pan. Pour remaining sauce evenly over top. Cover and bake for 30 minutes or until heated through.
