Chicken Fajita Pizza

Adapted from General Mills, Inc.

  • 1 lb frozen white bread dough, thawed
  • 1 lb chicken breast halves skinless, cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 16 ozs salsa, divided
  • 4 ozs Monterey jack cheese, shredded
Chicken Fajita Pizza
Preheat oven to 425. Prepare a 12" pizza pan with cooking spray; set aside. Prepare frozen bread according to package directions and then roll onto pizza pan; set aside. In a large skillet, cook chicken, onions, and bell peppers until chicken is no longer pink. Add chili powder, salt, and garlic powder. Mix well. Spread eight ounces of salsa evenly over crust. Spread chicken mixture evenly over top. Spread remaining salsa over chicken. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 20 minutes, or until crust is browned.
