Caramel Cream Brownie Trifle

Adapted from General Mills, Inc.

  • 18. ozs brownie mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tbsps olive oil
  • 1 whole egg
  • 3 ozs instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups fat-free milk
  • 1/2 cup fat-free caramel topping
  • 8 ozs Cool Whip Free, thawed
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Caramel Cream Brownie Trifle
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a 13"x9" pan with cooking spray; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine brownie mix, water, oil, and egg. Mix until moistened. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and cut into one inch pieces. In a small bowl combine pudding mix and milk. Mix well; set aside. In another small bowl, combine caramel topping and whipped topping. Mix well. In a 3-quart trifle bowl, layer half of the brownie pieces, pudding mixture, whipping topping mixture and walnuts. Repeat. Cover and chill for two hours.
