Western Beans & Rice

6 servings

1 c long-grain white rice, uncooked 8 ozs tomato sauce 
1 c onions, chopped 1/2 c water 
1 c celery, sliced 1 tbsp ketchup 
1 tsp garlic, minced 1 tsp chili powder 
15 ozs canned pinto beans, drained and washed 1/4 tsp pepper sauce 
Prepare rice according to package directions. In a skillet over medium heat, cook onions, celery, and garlic until crisp-tender. Add pinto beans, tomato sauce, water, ketchup, chili powder, and hot pepper sauce. Heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot rice.
