Tex-Mex Turkey Tacos

16 servings

1/2 cup  onions, chopped  16  ozs  turkey light meat, skinless, cooked and shredded 
8  ozs  tomato sauce  16  pcs  taco shells 
1/2 cup  water  1  cup  cheddar cheese, shredded 
3  tbsps  chili powder  1  cup  iceberg lettuce, shredded 
1  tsp  salt  
In a large skillet, cook onions until tender. Add tomato sauce, water, chili powder, and salt. Mix well and bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook five minutes. Stir in the turkey and cook until heated through. Place 1/3 cup turkey mixture into each taco shell. Top with one tablespoon of cheddar cheese and one tablespoon of lettuce
