Sugar Cookie Wreaths

22 1/3 ozs sugar cookie mix 4 drops food coloring, green 
1/4 c olive oil maraschino cherries, drained and cut up 
1 whole egg  
Preheat oven to 375. In a mixing bowl, combine cookie mix, oil, egg, and green food coloring. Mix well. Form into balls the size of miniature marshmallows. For each wreath, roll into ten balls with sides touching into a ring. Place wreaths two inches apart on prepared baking sheets. Flatten with fingers. Place small piece of cherry on each ball. Bake for seven minutes, or until set but not browned.
