Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes

12 servings

2 lbs ground chicken breast skinless  2 tbsps light brown sugar 
1 c onions, chopped  2 tbsps yellow mustard 
1/2 c bell peppers, chopped  2 tbsps worcestershire sauce 
1/2 c celery, chopped  2 tbsps white vinegar 
2 tsps garlic, minced  1 1/2 tsps chili powder 
3/4 c no-salt-added ketchup  1/4 tsp salt 
1/4 c water  12 whole hamburger buns 
In a large saucepan, cook chicken, onions, bell peppers, celery, and garlic until chicken is no longer pink. Transfer mixture to a 3 1/2-quart cooker. Add ketchup, water, brown sugar, mustard, worcestershire sauce, vinegar, chili powder, and salt. Mix well. Cover and cook on high for two hours. Spread half cup mixture onto each bottom half of bun.
