Slammin Sloppy Joes

10 servings

1  lb  ground chicken breast skinless  3  tsps  chili powder 
1  c  onions, chopped  1  tsp  oregano 
2  tsps garlic, minced  1/8 tsp  black pepper 
15  ozs  barbecue sloppy joe sauce  8  whole  hamburger buns 
4  ozs  canned mushrooms, drained  
In a 2-quart glass bowl, cook chicken, onions, and garlic on medium-high for six minutes or until chicken is no longer pink. Add sloppy joe sauce, mushrooms, chili powder, and black pepper. Mix well. Microwave for eight minutes on medium-high again until heated through. Spread half cup or three ounces mixture onto each bottom half of bun.
