Salmon Burgers

14 3/4 ozs canned salmon, drained and flaked  1/2 c whole wheat crackers, crushed 
1/4 c egg whites, slightly beaten  1/8 tsp black pepper 
1/2 c onions, chopped  5 whole wheat hamburger buns 
1/2 c bell peppers, chopped  
In a mixing bowl, combine salmon, egg whites, onions, bell peppers, crushed crackers, and black pepper. Mix well and refrigerate mixture for half an hour, or until set. Form into five four ounce patties. Prepare a skillet with cooking spray and fry patties on both sides until lightly browned.
