Microwave One Dish Spaghetti

6 servings

1  lb  ground chicken breast skinless  1  tsp  granulated sugar 
1/2 c  onions, chopped  1/2 tsp  basil 
26  ozs  low-fat spaghetti sauce  1/4 tsp  salt 
1 1/2 c  water  8  ozs  angel hair spaghetti, broken in half 
1  tsp  oregano  
In a 8-cup glass liquid measure, microwave chicken and onions on high for six minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink. Stir in spaghetti sauce, water, oregano, granulated sugar, basil, and salt. Mix well. Microwave, covered, on high for three minutes. Stir in spaghetti. Cover and microwave again for seven minutes, stirring twice during cooking time. Let stand, covered, for ten minutes.
