Marinara Sauce with Spaghetti Marinara Sauce with Spaghetti

56  ozs  canned Italian style tomatoes, undrained  2  tsps  basil 
6  ozs  no-salt-added tomato paste  1  tsp  salt 
1  cup  onions, chopped  1  tsp  oregano 
3  tsps  garlic, chopped fine  1/4 tsp  black pepper 
2  tsps  granulated sugar  12  ozs  spaghetti, cooked 
In a 6-quart cooker, combine tomatoes, tomato paste, onions, garlic, sugar, basil, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours, or until onions and garlic are tender. Serve over top spaghetti.
