8 ozs mushrooms, sliced 1 tsp basil 
1 c bell peppers, chopped 1 tsp granulated sugar 
1/2 c onions, chopped 1 tsp oregano 
14 1/2 ozs canned crushed tomatoes, undrained 1/2 tsp salt 
8 ozs no-salt-added tomato sauce 1/4 tsp black pepper 
2 tbsps pizza seasoning  
To prepare sauce, cook mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions until tender. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, pizza seasoning, basil, sugar, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer all ingredients for 15 minutes, or until bubbling. Let cool slightly. Pour sauce over pasta or use in other recipes calling for spaghetti sauce.
