Brownie Cake Squares

16 servings

5  ozs  fat-free evaporated milk  2/3 cup  granulated sugar 
3  tbsps  margarine, melted  1/3 cup  cocoa powder, sifted 
1  whole  egg  1  tsp  baking powder 
2  tsps  pure vanilla extract  1/4 tsp  salt 
2/3 cup  unbleached flour  1/4 cup  powdered sugar, sifted 
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a 8"x8" square dish with cooking spray; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine evaporated milk, margarine, egg, and vanilla extract. Stir in flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until all is moistened. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. When brownies have cooked, sprinkle evenly with powdered sugar.
