Apple Walnut Crisp

6 c Granny Smith apples 1 tsp nutmeg 
2/3 c unbleached flour 4 tbsps light margarine 
1/2 c light brown sugar, packed 3 tbsps walnuts, chopped 
2 tsps cinnamon  
Preheat oven to 375. Prepare a 8" square pan with cooking spray and flour. Arrange apples in prepared pan; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cut in margarine with a pastry blender until crumbly. Stir in walnuts. Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples. Bake for 30 minutes, or until apples are tender and topping is crisp.
