Alphabet Chili Soup

Adapted from
10 servings

1 c bell peppers, chopped 1 1/3 c chicken broth 
1/2 c onions, chopped 3 tsps chili powder 
1 tsp garlic, minced 1 tsp salt 
45 ozs canned dark red kidney beans, undrained 1/4 tsp black pepper 
3 c water 7 ozs alphabet pasta, uncooked 
In 5-quart saucepan, cook bell peppers, onions, and garlic until tender. Stir in beans, water, chicken broth, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Heat to boiling; then simmer over medium heat for ten minutes. Stir in pasta and cook until done.
